Reliability of Evidence

When someone makes a claim that the world is a certain way, ask yourself how reliable the evidence is that supports that claim.  Reliability of evidence can be assessed by asking two questions:

1. How high up the pyramid of quality is the source of the evidence?
2. Has the evidence been tested?
